Install Anaella in your Slack workspace and your agent can read channels and threads, post a message, reply in a thread, DM a teammate, add a reaction and share a file from a URL or Google Drive.

Messages arrive by Slack’s Events API, so an agent can react to a new message within seconds. Posts come from the Anaella app, and anything the agent writes is a tool call you approve first.

In Claude, add a custom connector with the URL https://api.anaella.com/mcp and sign in. Cursor, Claude Code and other MCP clients take the URL with an API key, as below.

Which channels can the agent read?+

Public channels it is invited to, plus private channels and DMs where the Anaella app has been added. slack.channels.list shows which ones it can reach.

Who do messages appear to come from?+

From the Anaella app in your workspace. The agent can only edit or delete messages that app posted.

Do I need to create a Slack app myself?+

No. You install Anaella’s app from the dashboard and pick the workspace; the bot token stays with Anaella.

Can it react to new messages automatically?+

Yes. A watch on a channel is pushed by Slack, and an Anaella automation can draft or post an answer, with writes waiting for your approval by default.
